Growing the hell up and committing

So... I am having issues trying new tricks which is really affecting my progression as a rider... I have been riding for 4 months (spread out over a year) and all I have is the following:
Tail whips
180s
X-Ups
360s (when I commit )
Stairs up to a 5
Half-Decades
180 whips (when I commit )
Hang 5's

I feel that I am not that good at the moment, I really want to get:
Bri-Flips
Heelwhips
Double Tails
Consistent 360's and 180 whips
and barspins

Is there any advice to make me stop being a little bitch and just commit and do these?

if you know parkour, before trying any really big stair sets you could probably just ride your scooter, bail in mid air, and roll on the ground at the end of the stairs. Seems like a great plan.

On a serious note, I'm probably at the same level as you, but I can barspin and 180 barspin. Bri flips for me are really bad. Double tailwhips are really just how you go about learning them. If you have a local park with a flyout quarter, you could do them that way, or try them over boxes.

The pyramid is too large, but we do have a kicker thing.. IDK, rotty and Airplanes have ridden it with me

Try to feel natural on the scooter or something. Just think in your head all the time 'No problem, I got this" or something like that.
Tips for 3's: Tuck your legs up high when you hit 180. Atleast it makes them ALOT easier for me.
Good luck mate.

Get used to bailing and not destroying yourself. So learn to land on your feet and stuff. Then you just wanna do this whenever you don't think you're gonna land something. After the first try doing stuff they become much easier.

Once it stops raining I will get back up to the park and try this, I think just thinking I can do it and tucking will be the part that gets the tricks for me... And Keiran, that will definately help when I get up to 7+ stairs

I'm really at the same level as he is. cept i can barspin. But the thing that is holding me back is being able to only ride flat. : ( not much park time for me.

Well that doesn't really hold me back, so it should not effect you ether. I learned 5's, Trucks, 360 whips and more on flat so you can really learn more tricks than you think on flat ground/cirbs.
