bars with slit in scs...

I'm just wondering what will go wrong if I run slitted bars with scs. I'd rather not cut off the slit on my bars because my bars feel to short so I would like to gain a couple of inches with the scs.

The bars would snap really quickly if you don't cut off the slit.

Put a piece of old forktube in the bars.

no they wont snap they'll just pull right out of the SCS when riding. But yeah jam a fork tube up the bars and your good to go.
