tight clamps, bars tweak

can someone help my out here? i have a razor ultra pro, with proto t bars, razor threaded forks, razor headset... etc
and i have three razor double clamps on it
so i dont know what im doing wrong but i put the headset on and then i put the bars on, tighten the clamps, and i tighten them really really tight (ive broken two allen wrenches trying to make them as tight as possible becaus of this tweaking problem i have) but my bars still tweak
i dont know what im doing wrong or what parts i need so can somebody help me?

It could quite possibly be the 3 double clamps you have... Just use the one double clamp. My bars used to come loose all the time with a triple clamp on my RUP, then I put it back to just a double clamp and now it's perfect. I mean if that is what you're talking about when you say they "tweak".

Also My reason for saying that is because if you logically think about it, there is a clamp on top of the one below it that is tighter for a few reasons.
1.The slit cut in the bars will expand a little bit do to the large amount of pressure above it
2. This will cause the bottle clamp to feel like it it tight on the bars, when it actually is tight on the expanded bottom section of the bars.
3. JUST RUN ONE CLAMP and see if that doesn't help.

Try putting some white Lithium grease on the Bolts before tightening.

The main problem with Clamps is that they are made from Aluminum, a soft metal, but the Bolts are Steel, a hard metal.

What happens is the Soft alooominum "grabs" the bolt's threads before it can actually thread all the way through to create enough clamping pressure.

It feels like it is tightening because to gets harder to turn the Bolt and this causes problems like Stripped bolts and clamps that don't seem to tighten.

I like this style tube better since you can just shove the Bolt in the Opening

okay thank you all, i do not think theres a slit in the bar but i will try running one clamp and using the lithium stuff

If there is not a slit... NO Amount of grease is going to help

Cut a slit in the bars and then put some grease on the bolts when you put the clamp back on.
 
and by tweaking i mean the bars become un alligned with the fork, so the bars arent straight when the wheel is straight

No slit = no clamping power. To run no slit bars you need an SCS. Cut a slit on the bottom of your bars (~2 inches) and make sure you add a small circular hole at the end of the slit to prevent cracking.
 
oh i see now... i got threaded forks so i cnt get an scs but i have bars with no slit...
thank you everybody, i will now run with a slit and one clamp
 
okay this is probably gonna sound like another dumb question but do you cut two slits like one in both sides, or just one slit ?

1 will work.

Measure up 2" from the bottom of the Bars and drill a 3/16" hole

A center punch helps on Tubing but if you don't have a center punch then start with a small drill bit first, otherwise the Bit will try walking away from the marked spot.

Then cut a slit to the hole.
