Make them so that they extend BELOW the rails of the scooter. If you know what I mean. If they are above, just makes grinds harder IMO, and thins your dropouts a lot.

YES. none of the pegs currently made have a big enough outer diameter. also, it makes icepick grinds slide a bit smoother.

the only problem with that is that if they're any bigger, they wont fit on promodel dropouts without cutting a piece off of the side. also they will be more likely to scrape the ground when you're not used to doing sharp turns with pegs on.

There are ways to do it. However, I'd assume you would like that option less. The pegs would be much more costly, I would expect nearly one and a half times the cost PER peg. I don't know very people who would spend $30+ dollars not including shipping or hardware on a set of pegs.

Like Lloyd said, they would be more likely to scrape the ground on turns. They would weigh more.

Main factor is the price, are you willing to pay it?

Why would they cost so much more? It's barely an increase in the material, and the weight increase would be unoticable.

they wouldn't cost any more money or wheigh that much more. it's just that ihey wouldn't fit on most scooters without modding them, and they would be more likely to scrape the ground, which isn't that good...

If the outer diameter was increased to 1 inch, they'd fit on TSI's, and the lean angle would be barely noticable.

More people ride razors than other decks. That would be a much smaller market. They'd have to cost more? More material = higher cost?

If they are already cnc'd, just make a little area next to the dropouts that is smaller than the little rail on razors, then increase the outer diameter to be below the razor dropouts. Kinda like with socket wrenches.

Well yes, but that design consists of three different bores instead of two and, more importantly, OD machining which translates to higher cost. Would people pay more for this?
