I am really sketchy about going with deck pins or not because I am real tired with grip tape getting all messed up and losing grip after 2 weeks or so, but if i dont like them then i am screwed with holes left in my deck, so u people with deck pics, tell me the pros and cons about pins...And where do u get them and how do u install them!

u drill the holes a little smaller then u have to scrw them in they will make threads as u screw them in

yeah the aluminum is soft enough for the screws to self-thread. so all you have to do is drill the holes and put the pins in. i used to have 4 pins in the back of my deck for catching whips. it worked great. i say go for it, and if you dont like them, then you can just take them out and grip your deck

im not sure about this but i thought if u ride grip pins and then u get ur shoes wet do you slip off?
im not really sure but if anything i really dont like grip pins to be honest

I got deck pins on my TSI and it was a success that I made it! It's about two weeks ago, and they're really nice. The holes I made wasn't very precisely and it took about 3-4 hours to make. My suggestion is to buy a complete new pinned deck from inward-scooters.com.
When you buy your deck, you can choose deck pins in the field at the right side.

even if your shoes are wet, you still have almost the same amount of grip with the pins. but when you ride griptape and get your shoes wet, thats when you start slipping

How can you say you don't like them if you don't know anything about them?

God damn! It should only take like a half hour, just make sure you use loctite cause they like to fall out.
