Im all for tall/wide bars but this current trend for the park fags making their bars like 26 + wide x like 20 - 23 high is ridiculous. Again, its a trend started from Rwilly but he has a viable reason for riding wide bars because hes in Nitro Circus doing the mega all the time.

I never really liked the Proto deck. Felt like the deck plate was made of solid lead and the headtube felt too light for the deck plate. They were strong, but grinds werent on TSI level and feel wasnt great. They looked good though, and with a little tweaking of the deck plate plus bigger sizes...

Dont lean into your deck so much, sorta lean away from the ledge as you start the 50-50 and it will grind a lot smoother.

If you use the cups from a bmx bike you can run integrated headsets, which would be better in the long run as most aftermarket decks are integrated. If you dont want to risk getting the wrong sized cups and he isnt going to upgrade the deck anytime soon anyway, then go for an FSA non integrated...

Hammerheads dont come in 22", I think you mean 21.5" You may have gotten one of the bad batches of TSI's if your Hep sig broke in a month, as there isnt a massive difference between the Thresholds and Hammerheads so if youre able to break a Thresh in a month there is no way a Hammerhead would...
