Doesn't matter, unless the forks are different to MGP ones then it will still work. The threads on MGP forks extend longer down the tube so that the locknut still works and compresses the headset.

I miss the quality and hype of conversations and when arguements were logical. Also when people did whatever they had to just to be able to ride instead of buying 600 dollar scooters. Few bolts and bits of welded tubing and people were happy.

Polishing is easy, I've never done it to scooter parts but I've rawed bike frames and polished them, (after rawing) just wet sand them and then use a real fine grit sand paper on it (Go in circles for a nice finish) and them grab yourself a rag and polish them with silvo or something similar...
