no no lol the urethane would be bonded to a ring of metal or w/e (like a normal wheel), and that ring would have holes. there would be 2 halves of the core lengthwise. so it would be like 2 cores, but when you turn them around they are flat, and theres a female grove around it for the ring on...

well i was thinking, and i had an amazing highdea, instead of making a wheel one piece, why not make the urethane detachable. people thought of it before but i think that its about time someone trys it. Pros: Possibility to use whatever urethane hardness/ even a different matirial depending...

holy crap. i mean, i happy that someone is trying something different but jesus christ thats a lot of money for wheels lol. the urethane would have to last like 5 years for it to be worth it.

because metal cores to the job just fine aside from the occasional ovalizing which i havent had any problems with on any wheels recently. i mean if it could be that much stronger and it wouldnt ovalize i guess it would be a good thing but i can't see people paying more than 50 bucks for a wheel...

It would look cool, and it would be a little lighter, but i can't see it being worth it.
