180s down stairs

Need some help to make them more comfortable. When I do them, my wrists hurt me because of the way I land. The obvious tip would be to lean backwards, but then I would hit my brake and fall. Any way to solve this? Maybe I should change my stance for 180s or something?

Also what is the biggest set you've 180ed? Mine is only a 5, even 180 barspinned it once, I wanna try like a 7 but it would kill my wrists...

stand ski and put all your weight on your feet

Don't put your foot over the brake, that only leads to bad things. I've 180'd a 4, fakie jumped a 5 and half cabbed a 6 which totally doesn't make any sense. And I 180'd this 7ft long speed hump dealy. And about your hands hurting, I dunno if there's much you can really do besides 180'ing stairsets more and getting buff hands/learning yourself. I 180 all the time and I still hurt my hands on stairsets sometimes.

Try to even out your weight and take more of the impact in your legs instead of your wrists. Biggest thing ive 180'd is a 3 block at my local (size of a 7 stair) but I only rolled a little bit then fell off.

180d a 5. tried to 180 some cool street, but me + street + 180s dont mix for some reason : /, so i hardly ever 180 sets.
