It's all "innovative". The tubing's thicker too, so they have a bigger outside diameter. And because of that, no clamp will fit it, so they made their own integrated clamp too.

Its cuz they saw this (I really don't know, probably, but I'm just making shit up) and a lot of people were saying how they need to make bars with a thicker OD and just bigger clamps to fit them

would it work to get a quad clamp,regular suicides,cut them 2 inches shorter than what you want.put the hic shim on and tighten headset and only put your bars halfway down the clamp?

Congratulations, you basically just recreated Phoenix's SCS. The whole point is for the bars to be thicker, that's why they have to have an integrated clamp and shit.

Between the quad clamp, the HIC shim and starnut, and the Suicides, that's probably around $125. I think more maybe.
