35mm/MF Photos

I just got given a Seagull DF300x by a family member with a shutter release, one roll of expired film, 28mm & 50mm primes with UV and CPL filters as well as a B&W orange filter. I can't wait until I can get my hands on a battery so I can use this thang. The cool thing is he has an unused film inside the camera which is really quite old. It's gonna be interesting seeing how it looks when processed.

A friend just gave me a Yunon YN 500 (point and shoot with 4 light settings, fixed focus) and I'm gonna go to develop 96 exposures shot with my Bell + Howell BF35 today or tomorrow.

Looks to me like its a light leak. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_leak

Although, the black part makes me think otherwise. I'm thinking light leak and some minor film damage.

It give the picture character. Nothing to worry about, I'd rather see that than a perfectly pristine digital picture.

Anyway, still trying to find somewhere cheap to have my stuff developed and scanned.

dang! this makes me want to try and shoot film again! which camera should i try (both need a part) Canon T50 or Olympus OM 1n ?

Olympus needs focusing screen
Canon needs new battery cap
