practice practice practice. also i've heard spin like 120 or 180 and then spin the deck but just practice and also watch videos of other people doing the trick that's how i learned tailwhips.
Yep, listen to Brandon, It also depends on what youre doing it off or on, on flat, i like to catch it quick and then rotate the rest, But off a ramp or lip or bank you can basically jes do a 180 whip catch, and the rest honestly jes goes natural your body will keep you going...focus on catching the whip tho.
Im a huge 360whip whore, ask anyone haha... well i use to be, and yea, brandon is right, try learning 180whip catches, but try kicking it super fast. i can catch my 360 whips at a 90 degree spin sometimes, and i think thats the easiest.
i do them really weird... but its going to sound really dumb when i explain...so listen... i do them off real small like even speedbumps sometimes.. like i get like a 90 going and the tailwhip starts going... and i finish the 360 and the tailwhip is just finishing... and my feet land like 2 inches from the deck.... idk how to catch it... idk im weird.. i can catch regular tailwhips in the air but not 180 whips
I used to have the problem where I would do a 180 whip and then I could rotate the rest. But 180 whips help alot. and once you get those down really good, you should be able to do them.
ok, im working on these on flat. i can get the rotating but i always land with one foot but it lands goofy(switch for me). anybody know how to help that?
i can do 180 whips fine but every time i try a 360 whip i dont get the 360 down, i catch the whip and everything but i just end up landing 270. any help??
I do it all at once.. My feet catch the wip when ever it is time... I dont concentrate on a 180 wip catch then keep spinning, The wip comes natural to me.. Same with 360 double wips. 360 doubles flat are a lil bit of a different story.
