yes but you can only widen them 1/2" on each side, you need metal bar ends and two 1/2" cross bar pieces then just put them on the bar ends and put them in!

its very do able and you can make it wider than half inch hahah sketchy half pushed in barends

it took a while but i got a solid metal rod that just about dident fit in my bars then got a bit of pipe same size / diameter as my bars and hammer than on the end then hammer the rod with the bit on the end in of my bars then grinded it down smooth , intregrate barends aswell lol

try putting tubing inside your bars, and put a 7/8 bar over that. a welder helps too.
Do this. Get the tubing size down from the diameter of a crossbar. The put it in the bar and put a crossbar extension over it, and then weld the two cross bars together. You may wanna either do really clean welds or cover it with the grips because it will look ugly as fuck otherwise.

i dident weld mine , no point took me long to hammer the fuckers in no way they slippin out

Fair enough. Depends how snug the fit is.

However I would just go safe and buy new bars :/

yh , the tubing i used was some fat as fuck bolts i found in garage and cut the hex tops of pretty dodgey ghetto shit
