also, do you know how much do they cost in the shops nowadays... i cant find any prices anywher cos they dont sell them anymore

edit: my friend was telling me that after 1-2 years the battery of the ipod runs out.. therefore you have to buy a whole knew ipod.. is this true?? and if it is how old is this ipod becos it isnt worth buying if its old and you gotta replace it soon anyways

this is the 2nd gen mini, the battery is rated at 18 hours or something, it lasts for quite a while, and anyway if it dies apple replaces them for free (they send out forms to everyone that owns and older model) or just take it to an apple store or send it in and theyll replace it.
i dont think you can get them in shops anymore, but these were retailing at $250 when they were out, i forget if they dropped them to $200 at one point because i think they dropped the 4gigs to $150
but the used 6 gigs are still going for like $130-140 on ebay..im just to lazy to list it..although im about to because i need money quickkk.
