Yup. Brian you ever heard of the andromeda mod? A good friend of mine had a co-worker with it on his dvx, the mod would re-wire the camera so the footage went around the compressor in the dvx and went straight to a hard drive. He would be getting true 4:4:4 1080p footage out of the dvx. The footage he got out of that thing was better then most HD cameras on the market today haha. The best part is the company that made the mods got bought out by the company that makes RED cameras now haha! So fucking crazy.

Yeah I remember reading about it like 2 years ago. Over kill for me though, haha.

i just found out if you live near a frys they sell them for 200 dollars im so glad i found this because i live 15 minutes away from one
