They are not smaller,
they have some gay little cap thing on top of the threads, you have 2 options.
1.Hacksaw that gay little cap off and reinforce as normal
2.Reinforce them from underneath

1. when you hacksaw it off the tube is a little too thick to reinforce.
2. there is a cap on the bottom

At least it was like that with the fork my friend tryed to put on.
I think the new new a's forks are aluminum, that may be the reason why they are like that.
If it was aluminum the tube would have to be thicker to compensate for the stronger steel fork.

All razor bars are threadless.. Idiot..
Aluminum is such a soft metal that when pressure is applied it indents. In a scooters case.. the threads of the fork indent and make matching threads on the slide tube.
