Dunno about is that useless, but balanced scooter feels amazing. Ive got super well balanced scooter, it has been exatly same for 5 months and i love it still.

you could easily make them cheaper and better and be able to adjust how heavy it is with steel.
you just get a steel rod that will barely fiy down ur forkyube, then you cut it to size and weight and wrap it in tape, then hammer it down, does the same thing and doubles as fork rienforcement, and if you neeed a starnut, just shorten it,. easy and cheap
