Addict/Ethic Question

for christmas im thinking about getting an addict setup from scooterhut, but im probably gonna get another deck with it (ethic)

if i were to get an ethic deck, would i need headset spacers too? i've heard that the ethic headtube is midget or something, smaller than the addict so, yeah

or should i get a flavor awakening instead of ethic

I reckon get Ethic bars over Addict bars as they are stronger and taller but if you want wide bars JDs are ok, the new Flavor bars are also pretty good if you want wide bars that are taller than JDs (in SCS). Yeah you will need headset spacers with an Ethic deck if you are gonna run baby scs and Legacy forks but not many, not sure how many mm worth exactly.

Yes you will need spacers I'm running a ethic tilt nimbus and a tilt scs lt and I'm running 1 spacer

^ same as me. I love the ethic, ive heard good things about flavors but dont get your head wrapped on the spacers...its not a big deal

you should only need a 5mm

why not cut the forktube? and in case it spoils a screw-in sturnut use a usual one instead?

That defeats the purpose of having a tilt fork.

Its never a good idea to cut alu forks that have internal threads haha a 5 mm spacer isn't a big deal anyway

The Tilt topcap compression is shit anyway, the the integrated starnut on the Nimbus forks is way better IMO

idk i would try to not use a spacer, cutting 5mm of threads won't even do harm, as there will remain enouph to use a tilt topcap, and as it is aluminium it'll be easy to clean the rabbish left on the threads after cutting for a cap to start screwing

That fallout from chernobyls gotten to you...just use a spacer dude theres no harm in that and you can't mess up your 100$ fork.

I just don't like spacers when I can make it work without them, you can barely mess up a fork by such simple actions, even I can do it with my tentacles ; )

Spacers are the best way about it mate. I had one on my ethic when I rode it (still do, different set up though).

5mm spacer would be sufficient.
