totally agree. back in the day, i really didn't like dan's riding. it just bugged me for some reason. then i actually hung out with the kid and saw him ride and realized how crazy the stuff he does is, it just doesn't translate right on video for some reason. definitely one of the best riders around today.

agreed, i think the tall bars are what did it in for me, i cant stand that. plus his techy stuff was nuts, but it was kinda sketchy most of the time. nowadays watching him it just blows me away, the shit he does just doesnt seem right..i can fuck around for hours trying one thing and still not even begin to understand how he can pull it off.

not to mention hes a really chill kid, real mellow, not cocky like half the other real talented kids

Thats one of the things that won me over. Im close with most riders. But i never was with Dan, i was talking on the phone with Andrus after he had rode with Dan filming for Transit, and i jes asked how Dan is, like whats he like. And he basically told me everything you said. And on top of that, that was a lil bit after his riding took a turn for the best...but yea, i always hear from a lot of people how chill Dan is.

I got myself banned.
I used to not like Dan. One day Mcgowan invited him out, we rode... than we took him to Brick park one day, he was mute. After a few trips he started to talk, and his riding cleaned up alot, and now hes the man.

I'm hoping to have it done and have the copies made for XW comp so we can premiere it there... I'm not sure how Casey's part is going to be though, because he doesn't have much footage at the moment and i don't even know if he started physical therapy for his knee yet.

when i first met dan he couldnt double whip, his bars where all the way up, now hes got the sickest style in the sport imo his riding completely changed i think due to all the bikers around here just wait till tpc dvd he just does crazy shit
