Well first rule of airs is that the faster you go the higher you will fly. When you're first learning them get a good amount of speed. How right after the coping hits your front wheel(I like to keep my foot on the brake but not many people do that) Land leaning forward and just picture yourself landing it when your in the air. Be loose. Watch Stan Smirnoff. Do what he does.

lol i learned from gino, jump so wheel doesn't slam the copin but lightly glides over it and don't air straight up and down go at a slight angle when ur learning, and yeah watch stan

best advice you'll get. If you go straight at an air, sometimes you'll probably tend to carve a bit into it or something or over rotate it which sucks and you'll lose all your speed when you land. Go at an angle and you won't have that problem, that's why it's good to have a bowl or a really wide qp to learn airs in. Also, you need to BUNNYHOP in airs, meaning lift up front wheel first when you feel it hit the coping, then lift the back wheel and tuck. If you just jump both wheels at the same time, you're gonna land sketchy on your back wheel and lose your speed. Also pump the qp before you get to it, meaning bend your knees and absorb the tranny and just let go when you feel your wheel hit the coping. Also practice hella, airs are one of the MOST annoying things to get good and consistent at on a scooter, well at least for me.

edit: oh and when you're learning to air, it's best to find a nice 6 or 7 ft qp with coping that doesn't stick out too much, but enough so that you can feel it when you go up the qp.

flow with the coping really. just pump and drift up. you're prob casing cuz the ramp is mellow as, but yeah. i air straight up and down, nothing wrong with it imo.

the easiest thing for me is to look over your shoulder like you are going to spin and spot your landing. i was having troubles with it to and i did that and it was easy from then on.
