im glad your using manual mode and you just got your camera
try to change your iso a bit im not sure if you know what that is but its at 500 in all of those pictures and it could be lower so less noise

turn it to 100 and then turn it to 1600 you will see
you always try to keep it as low as possible but if you must you make it a little higher

the biking one is really dark either turn your iso up, which might show some grain in the dark i dont really know how good 40ds are with noise reduction or turn your flash exposure up it should be right in the menu
this might make it a little but washed out because its on camera flash and thats usually no good unless its mixed with sunlight

/\ or i could edit it hahaha. it was really bright off the camera so i edited it a little darker. i guess a little too dark. haha i will work on it

alright well middle of December the flickr was filled up because i added all my old photos onto it and they were like 4mb in size lol. i am resizing all my photos before i put them on now.
