oh yeah aaron, you're totally right, it is IMPOSSIBLE for someone to hear a song on a video and enjoy it without simultaneously wanting to suck the riders dick, right? instead of being jealous, you could instead say "yeah coedie picked a great song for his part". because I sure know that whenever I see an edit with good music, whenever I listen to that music it makes me think of the edit and it pumps me up. so yeah, coedie you picked a freaking great song. It pumps me up to ride. but shoot, that must mean that I'm a sheep huh?

The answer is...No.
No one cares what lesser known people use for songs. All they care about is what Coedie, or Terry, or Stan uses.
Coedie's DSC song has been Mentioned about 5 times in this thread.
Terry's Mini song has been mentioned countless times.
If someone else used these songs, nobody would take any notice of it whatsoever.

But the problem is, that wasn't really the original thing i was getting at.
I'm not having a shot at little kids.
I'm making a general statement that they need to learn to think for themselves, and not have it spoonfed to them, like they do now.
Whatever pros are doing, they'll copy. Whatever pros don't like, they won't like.
This isn't going to do anything for them in the real world. Ultimately, they just won't survive.
And i guess, if you can get that idea into their head, maybe they'll stop.
But i doubt it.

haha funny story: I released some footage of me from Fall 07 a few months ago. In the edit I have some shots of me wearing these bright blue pants, that are so dope. I got a few comments on the video of people saying "yeah you're pretty good, but I just can't take anyone seriously in those pants". fast forward 3 months. Coedie wears bright orange pants in his vid and all you hear kids talking about "omgz lolz I kant wayt to get orange pants like cody! lolz" haha so, I'm guessing no, it's never gonna stop haha

hah, I admit, a good 10% or probably less songs of my hip-hop collection now have come from Stan vids, but most of the mainstream stuff has sick beats, so... yeah.

Hey dude your right. I don't know you and I have no position to call you "unoriginal" and for that I feel pretty dumb. But think of this, your flaming a bunch people on sr for liking a song on a video which in itself is kinda childish. Plus what was ever wrong with being introduced to new music scenes and genres? If that was an honest crime then allot of todays artists and musicians wouldn't be making half of the stuff your most likely listening to. But anyways I'm not here to argue you, my whole point is that its dumb to talk down to others and get super hurt when someone says something back to you. Your only making yourself look bad.

This is so retarded. I heard the song in Coedies video. I liked it and it is great to ride too. Whats the big deal? And by the way, I hate most of the other music Coedie puts in his videos.

Dear everyone on this thread.
You've taken me completely the wrong way.
Not ONCE did i put an exclamation mark, or even make it sound like i was having a go at little kids.
I had an arguement, and i was supporting it by providing evidence, as any argument goes.
Don't ask me why i did it in the first place, but i just hate it when stupid crap like that happens.
Sorry for whatever.
But i still stand by my argument.
