Thanks. Neither of those mention post-weld heat treatment. I'm just looking to make some aluminum bars and I can post-weld heat treat to T6. Now I'm just curious if there is a market for it. Would anyone buy aluminum bars post-weld heat treated so they wouldn't bend so easily?

I don't know right now. I still have designs from a few years ago that I'm finally going to make. It all depends on how the prototypes do in testing and what needs to be improved upon. They would be priced competitively compared to what's on the market now otherwise I wouldn't get any business =)
