Yeah, I'm like 200 pounds. Man, if someone started making titanium and 4130 decks, they'd rule the market for a while. Too bad I suck at welding... I mean, I'll weld one up for myself, but I'd need to get a lot better before I could sell my handiwork. Damn - do I just get an aluminum deck, or spend like thirty hours cutting and welding and grinding some custom trainwreck that might be stupid when it's finished...

titanium does not go along with other metals.

The sky high v1 bars were 4130. Still riding mine for almost a year I think. Too bad they closed. :-(

nitro!!!

well i would look into the nitro if i were you because you look at twan and terry price and they are like the biggest people i know on scooters and they hold up fine and i dont know if its true but twan said the nitros have 3 year warrenty on all welds so it sounds pretty legit...im riding a blue nitro and i love it(but im not a lard ass);D

Bars 4130
Deck Aluminium
Forks 4130

Some decks made of aluminium are heavy enough, to design a 4130 deck that is strong yet light enough would be pretty hard.

Forks and bars being 4130 just makes a nicely balanced scooter, prefer the feel of welds and things welded together rather than one hard block of cnc.

k so i looked up carbon fiber and if you have the same amount of each substance (steel and carbon fiber) carbon fiber is 5 times stronger than steel 2 times stiffer and only costs 10 $ per pound
