i think it all depends on this
1. if you ride a stock razor scooter with no mods you gay and people will be like i had one of those...im over that phase
2. if you can't even tailwhip get ready to be called gay tailwhips and bars are really good to learn whether u want to or not because they are easy and can be done flat when people ask u to do a trick
3. if you defend yourself and say scootering is not gay! just do what me and ian do and be like i dont scooter thats gay even though everyone knows we do and now everyones like idc about u guys anymore

at my local everyone respects us cause once u do a couple of whips they want u to be their friends lol
people dont really say much to us cause when they see and whipping and bri-ing they dont want to get hit in the face with a scooter ,but some ignorant fuk at oil city comes up to brian murphy and is like that shit is gay and brian was about to punch him in the face but then we would have gotten kicked out the park so brian was like watch this and he did a backflip out of like a 3ft mini and he didnt say anything
