Okay well right when I got my buff bars i TRIED putting in my star nut but it just seemed like the star nut was too large and the walls on the buff bars were too thin which obvously isnt the case im just retarded, so i kept tring to hammer the star nut in my it just wouldnt go in it kept going in krroked finnally it got so far in krooked one of the little flanges got bend but its still on idk.. so now the strnut keeps moving down and im fucking ne thing i can do?.. heres a picture:

well as long as the core of it is parallelled with the steertube itself, it should still be usable, in case you haven't hammered it too far.
 
Take off the riser clamp and get a really long tube and hit it through the top of the steer tube. Then straighten the flanges back out and give it another go.

alright thats what ive been thinking but i dont have ne thin long enoff but im sure ill find some thing thanks

i doubt your going to be able to hit it back from the top, its designed to go in one way, and your risking braking it, although if its already screwed you might at well just buy anyother one and try and hammer it in.

EDIT: Oka wll i just got the star nut out staightened it all out and put it bagck in idk how it is yet cuz i havnt ride but ill tell yall tommarow thanks for the help though
