Are the Old A deck/headtubes good, because i have mine bolted, and im running it fine, im thinking about cutting the break, adding reinforcement, and grabbing the lucky threaded fork, some lucky hic bars, odi grips/ends, and some proto gripper wheels and calling it good, what do you all think??

Well im just determining if buying a ultra pro is a waste of money because of how much im going to change almost instantly. Like ill buy it, hot glue the wheels, cut the break, change the grips and grip tape, lube the bearings, and run it like that for a month, then id probably say fuck it and buy a Cane creek s3, phoenix forks, lucky bars, then the next month say f it and buy proto grippers, etc.

your better off getting a madd gear of any sort. the MG pros last longer than many of my mates ultra pros have. just buy the deck. then do it up with ur parts and you'll have a great scooter. the old a will break fast and youll just find ur self buying another scooter or deack sooner. Time = Money dude.

yeah but he lives in america, so maddgears arent available there. so his best bet is to get the ultra. anyway, razor have reinforced the ultras and he's new to this sport, so he wont be breaking it anytime soon.

for what i not there are some madd gears avaliable in america. dont no where tho. sorry if im wrong. even if ya cant get them there import the mgp. customise it and then sell the stock parts. the stock parts are well worth selling!!! its worth the cost.

if you're getting threaded get regular sized bars, not hic

old A's are okay if you don't murder decks, but it's prone to bending faster than normal, your set up for the future sounds good, i'd recommend the ultra pro though.

yeah there are madd gears in america. the MGP team is/was over there fliming a madd gear dvd. there is the trailer on you tube. watch it. its possobly the maddest scooter vid ive ever seen. the realease of madd gear scooters was tied into the SoCa tour. dont know whp carries the scooters over there..... im in Aus, but walmart or someone will have em

umm actually no ones sellin MGP's in US, until start of september and to get one imported from aus is around 200 for the scooter and shipping. so dont listen to him^^

Well, this is my current setup,
Old A deck/headtube, bolted, with a welded reinforcement
Old A fork with a welded gusset on the fork, and heavy reinforcement
stock bars, welded at the clamp, clamp removed.
ODI Grips, electrical tape over stock bar ends for the incase
Lime green griptape, on headtube, break, and deck
Cut Break, sanded smooth
Razor pro wheels with my old Bones swiss bearings/ stock spacers hot glued to perfection

I think itll last awhile, and in the mean time im either going to wait for a mgp, or just say f' it and buy a ultra pro.

sorry it was the launch of madd gear being in the US. the scooters are being realeased in september as said by knox local above. id wait fot the madd gears to get there. just me saying it is worth the wait for one
