Oh man I love it. Sure it makes it a bit difficult because you can't preview any footage. But MAN does that thing kick ass. I was offered a deal with GOPRO because they saw my old footage and liked it so I got mine at wholesale but what a deal. You can get really really great shots for under 400 bucks. The quality these things put out on a sunday day are incredible, mirroring the stuff the pros use.
There are drawbacks, like lack of control of the shot and such. But I think It simplifies everything so much and almost makes your edits more pure. Because you can't really set anything up, it looks exactly how it happens.
So Yeah I LOVE it. Don't know how well it would work with a scooter but I bet if you strapped it to the back and did some tailwhips with it that might look really great.
