? Are you on drugs? Unless you just lean back and only use your brake which is really dumb.

I've been fooling around a bit and I can pull it off like "that guy" in the vid with my left perpendicular to the brake and my right hovering above the brake. almost reached my first goal (2 feet consistent)!

how do you guys land when your foot is always on the brake?

and i cant seem to get used to manualling with pressing the brake, i go forward every time

i can go a long way with both feet on the deck though

you don't land with your foot directly on the brake, you put your weight on the ball of your foot and your toes.

well if you want to get the best manual then find a decent flat area psuh about 4times then shift your weigth beack and put your left foot on the brake and lift up yes you may slow down but if youve got enough spped you should keep it for a whiel just practice pratice practice that's all i say

And to explain this statement, if you're goofy you'll have your left foot on and if you're regular you'll have your right foot on.

or, if your brake is high, you can use your foot to push against the sidewall of the wheel instead or braking

place ur feet in back of the scooter and ur heel slightly over the brake and pull up if u start 2 lean back 2 bar slightly tap the break and u will go down a little the better u get at manueling the less u use ur brake and the farther u can go gota start off on the brake first

once again this is another stupid thread on sr

You need to go at a medium speed. Position one foot to the side of the brake and the other hovering over the brake. Then you can either pull the handlebars back and bring your shoulders and head foward, or you can pull up and lean back and let your handle bars down if you feel you are falling backwards. Good luck.

to help myself with foot positioning on the brake, i painted the brake some odd color and gave it to a guy that had the same stance as me and was really good at manuals(david miles)

then, i put my foot exactly where the paint had worn off, and it helped tons more than finding the "sweet-spot" on my own.

hope that helps

edit: the paint can be either wet or dry, just make sure theres only one coat
you CAN NOT have it clearcoated, primered, or powdercoated.
