Yet another myth about bodybuilding. Do a simple search and show your mom the facts. http://bodybuilding.about.com/od/bodybuildingfaq/f/stuntgrowth.htm That's only one source i found quickly. Only lifts that put direct pressure on the spine MAY be connected to stunted growth. The earlier you start, the better, as long as you have already hit puberty of course. I regret not starting freshman year.

Thank you very much, hopefully this will make her change her mind.

i work everyday i dont smoke tht much anymore cause of it and im better at scooters cause of it lol idk y

I feel that is would help my riding alot if I lost a little weight. I'm currently upping the cardio so I can lean down a little, I only need to lose like 10-15lb at most, but being lighter at the same strength can only be beneficial as far as scootering is concerned.

bump cause i'm curious.

i lift monday-friday's and i'm on an extremely strict diet.

anyone else?

Wait, so you lift for 5 days in a row? Thats not really that good for you... I've been lifting for like a month now and I only lift 3 times a week, and they're mon-wed-fri.

diff body parts dude, monday's bi's tri's and abbs... tuesday's legs...wednesday back and shoulders...thursday legs again...friday's chest and abb's again. working seprate body parts compared to full-body workouts gives you better results for gaining mass.

I've heard mixed things about that... If you think about it, you're only working out a specific body part once a week, which isn't nearly enough.

but if you do a full body you don't work all the groups as hard as you can with just one group. if you want size this is how lol.

EDIT: plus if you work each body part hard enough it's sore for like 3 days, it just takes an hour and a half to two lol

I take MMA and we have to lift. Taking MMA gives you cardio for days.

nice man!

Sore for 3 days? What's your diet like?

everything organic, only complex carbs, lots of lean meat, no sugar (cane) i take in between 3000-4000 calories a day, and i eat my weight in grams of protien. my diet is great, i just switch up my workout whenever i don't get sore so i keep growing.

hahahaha I haven't heard that name in forever. There is a thread here from 06 or 07 where it's a huge shitstorm against him, I read it when I want to laugh

link? i wanna read it lol.
