ya, but that looks like a solid machined piece of metal. it would be mad heavy and hard to machine into a fork.

but who knows...

Buy a 3/16 plate, 1X3. Half a foot of 3/4 square steel tubing, and you need a pro model fork. Now you just break the legs off your pro fork. Grind the metal around the crown race into a circle. Now weld it to the plate. Now cut the steel tubing to like 4 1/2 inches and weld them on the plate. Cut the fork tube below the threads and now weld on a new tube. Simple.

1. find yourself a broken stock fork and remove the bottom bearing race
2. cut the welds at the bottom of the forktube (right above the wheel) with a dremel tool & slide it out
3. find yourself a steel pipe that is 1 1/8" in diameter and easily thicker than a stock forktube
4. weld your new pipe in the same place as the broken forktube once was and slide the bottom race back on
5. enjoy your new fixed stock fork.

This has been something I've been meaning to try now for a while and I'm pretty damn sure it will work, once i find someone to weld it that is. It also better work because I'm on my last fork right now and it's gonna break soon I bet because I go through a new fork every 2 weeks to a month now..
