anyone here play dancing games? (ddr/itg/etc.)

I got myself banned.
Used to play DDR and ITG. I faded away from it after the ITG lawsuits/before Supernova came out. My parents just sold my Cobalt Flux pad earlier this year. I was no where near as good as you. I cleared all of the Max songs (up to Extreme), Paranioa Survivor Max oni once. Had a couple triple As on easier songs. Loved ITG, i have the ITG2 beta for PS2 on my computer at home still i think. Never played either DDR or ITG on an arcade machine though.

I just started playing Stepmania again recently though. Been playing spread on my laptop, I kill it when i play index but the arrow pad on here is fucking gay and the monitor starts bouncing everywhere anyway. Deff not as good as a was like 2 years ago, but i can still pass pretty much anything you throw at me. I have a folder on my home PC full of triple As, never manged to quad anything though.

edit: Also used to be into Beatmania, don't play really anymore though. I was never good at it, I could pass L7s. Stepmania something 'clicked' and I got good as shit at it, played Beatmania for about a year and it never happened for this game, i guess 7 keys and a scratch is just too much for my brain. I still have my Beatmania controller, and do download the new games to play the new songs and see whats good, but I get bored of them quickly because i suck at the harder notecharts.

Lurked Bemanistyle and ITG Freak. Im still a member of bemaniso.ws (torrent tracker) although i rarely visit it. Fucking love watching ITG videos of Kevbo, that dude is so nasty.

ahaha, i'm an avid poster on AIJ/itgfreak (which is now rhythmatic.net). yeah, kevin's gross... he's such a sweet guy in person, though... i love partying with him ahaha.

Nah, it's pretty close to me, though... My friend in Kingston, PA owns it. I do all the theme/hacking related nonsense for it, though :]

And yeah, I've met 90% of the ITG community through tournaments, pretty much. I make it out to as many as I can... not for the competitive aspect, but more so for the social aspect. :]

Ahh thats pretty sick. I wish I still had my pad i would play a little bit, i'd probably die though, doubt i have any stamina.

edit: you play pump at all? i made a control box for that for my CF and played the home version, shit was a total mindfuck for me, i think i gave up after a week haha

You can blame it on the flux haha, they are horrible for 5 panel... my local arcade got a Pump Pro however, and i'm having some fun with that for the time being :p

Basically what Brian said....can still pass anything on Stepmania, but cbf to download it again..had over 3k songs...so now I just get on FFR to pass time if im bored. Theatre here used to have Pump it Up, but they took it out...lameeee.

My PA/MA is no where near as good as it used to be when I played index, my laptop keyboard has the worst arrow keys ever. But I just setup Stepmania online like an hour ago and played a few rounds then checked my profile out. Holy shit i used to be pretty decent after looking at my grades

also, greg: there's an arcade in the queen center mall with a DDR extreme machine, and an ITG2 dedicab... i dunno if you've ever been there or not.
