i know a lot about cars and i have never seen one and personally i think their ugly as fuck anyways

my firend has a 96 civic SI with a turbo kit, he got it from an insurance claim. 1400$ for the car, 300$ to fix the broken parts, 1000$ for the turbo, and 10 hours of work to fix and put the turbo on. if you can get a used civic for about 3000$ and dont mind to work on cars, you can get 100 extra hp with 1000$, and cicics with 230 hp haul ---

ha, my neighbor does with a nos kit. ive driven it badass. its the car i want when I turn 16. im 14 now and have about 18 grand in a bank account saved up. lol. its fast as shit with a turbocharger and shortthrow shift kit. but the one i drove is auto.

That will also be the first car that you wreck so remember that. $18grand down the drain. I wouldn't spend more than $1,500-2,000 on your first car. You will abuse it and break it no matter how good you think you are with cars.

i no. my dad won't let me get it as a first car. but ever since i saw one at a car show, all custom, ive loved it. my dad says he'll b surprised if I don't get one after al the ranting and raving ive done. also, it has the camry engine, same as the xB. one word: turbocharger!!!!!!

scion's with turbo's are still slow as lawn mowers. if you have the money then i would suggest a 350 or g35 because 287hp stock would smash on most cars and all you'd need is a turbo or supercharger kit and you'd smoke evo's and sti's all day every day. i used to have a Z but then i sold it to move to cali. worst decision ever ... but yeah i'd also go with an S2000 if you have that kind of money cause a turbo'd s2k vs a turboZ or g35 s2k wins cause of the weight

just so you all know i got an Acura RSX Type-S
nicer and faster than a scion by farr its actually faster than every car in this discussion except for maybe the g35
but i got a v4 so it saves gas
o yeaaa and its got a v tech engine once the v tech kicks in its amazing
its an 03 and i got it for 13g
its perfect condition and already has a bose system in it (pretty top of the line system)

Your country has developed the Ford T, the A model, the Jeep, the Dodge Charger... If I were any of you I would surely get any old cheap car that actually has any soul in it. Don't tell me about gas prices because Im not telling anyone to get a 572 engine or something, but at least not some Honda shit.

Honda, Nissans, Infinitis and Toyotas are know to last... i hate American cars. I also hate Honda Civics but hey they last and you can do EVERYTHING to them.

no point in a fast car these days. reliability and gas mileage should be your biggest concern. but you got a car already so whatever

well i raced for the first time today in the car
2 for 2 :D
lol i raced a mustang just on a local street that was empty
we only raced like a 1/4 mile my car just took off wayyy faster than his he eventually started catching up though
but my first gear is really fast especially cuz of the vtech engine
and i raced a suped up integra
it wasnt even close
lol
so once i get the intake and turbo i will start taking it to my local drag race track ill probably get smoked though

I know someone will be like 'Oh but they are REALLY GOOD cars!' after what Ive said. Well, I guess they really are, but that's not the point, for me at least. If I had more money like some of the people, Id go for an original car with a smaller engine instead of a fast Japanese car.

Edit: also I guess that you don't need a 'car that lasts' if you know how to drive well enough not to overstress the car, not kill the engine, not burn the clutch etc.

scions are probably the most realistic to buy.....but performance wise, go with the g35 or 350z. the g35 and 350z both have around 315-325hp depending on what year you buy them. scions have around 160 or 200 with the supercharger......soooo yea
