The weight difference between a double clamp and single clamp is next to nothing and wont make any performance difference at all. Better off getting a TILT double clamp.

idk man, single clamps on setups nowadays dont feel right to me, seems like apex is trying a bit hard to unique or OG here

he asked if it works, not what you like personally you wallies. in saying that, yes it does work. having a smaller slit will assure bars wont do shit. bike seats go by the one bolt rule, you dont need more than that, how is this any different?
plus none of you know except for maybe bror, seeing as he is closest to france know what light actually is

fyi noah, if you want big weight difference, get rid of your anchor (scs). all of em are 150 grams or more any fork with a top cap compression can run ics with a little effort modifying it, more options. you still are able to use the other compressions if you get a new top cap too. ics only 100% reliable with alloy bars or ethic bars with the built in starnut, installing ics starnuts into crmo always slips eventually.

I'm not starting shit but maybe because we use the bars as our main object to control the scooter how is that the same to a bmx bike seat that sits that and literally does nothing. Like for real would you trust a one bolt clamp when jumping down Eltoro cuz I sure as hell wouldn't.

the dudes not jumping down eltoro but thank you for pointing out that, it isnt a seat post but why i do compare it is because they go thru the same thing, how they twist out of alignment. they can do it with one bolt and thats what we are adressing. the other force is another story, and its a issue of do i want to have a balance point that helps some things and hinders others and also makes an artificial strong point which cause problems else where or balance out the stress, scs or no.

they still look pretty weird imo

and if you happen to strip that one bolt, you dead. other clamps like double and triple (and quad) always have another bolt there if you happen to strip one accidentally, so you wont need to go ahead and instantly buy a new clamp. also since its apex, it costs a shit ton just for a single clamp

thats good for kids but we actually take care of our product and making it with a steel insert solves the strippage problem. mtb clamps pretty much all have them with no problems, they tell you how much force to use on the bolts. i ran one with a goddam skate bolt in it and snapped the allen keys with out stripping them.

and yeah apex is always a waste of money imo, find some old solid clamp and cut em is what i do.
got myself 1/2 an urbanartt scs from scooterhut, had to cut off the clamp for some reason so i got the rest
