Are Elyts shoes worth the money?

ill say they aren't the best looking but they are actually good shoes, most of the people talking shit haven't tried them and once you wear them in they grip super good and the impact resistance is good once you have a proper supporting inner sole, they are the reason i don't use griptape as they were too grippy and i wanted a change in riding.

i have Elyts shoes, maybe a month old and i already need to get them fixed at the shoe shop by reinforcing the stitching and so on, other than that there the best shoes so far

I rode janoskis for around 5 months and they still have tons of life in them, I'm wearing my elyts mids and I like them and I bought them out of my own pocket to support rollerblading, if you dont buy them then you dont give them any money to make them better even if they arent great in your opinion right now, I like them personally

fixed.

If you want my opinion id definately recommend the converse sea star, ive had mine for 4 months now and still good as new, the sole doesnt wear out at all it seems. plus theyre cheap like 30-40 bucks.

I go to the shop when I need shoes and buy whatever is on sale and feels comfortable.

Usually go for something etnies or something DC, occasionally globes or vans.

I normally ride DC or Airwalk shoes, I have concidered getting Elyts but i don't think they are worth £80

air walks dont last long but are often cheap. i had és which lasted a long time and fallens are nice. i got a pair of ipaths, globes adios and etnies (im not using the etnies yet though). they are all fairly nice, the ipaths are comfortable but the grip isnt really good but they dont wear down that fast, really nice shoe and cost £20. the adios £20 aswell and are slightly grippier, they are not as padded though but still fairly comfortable, as for the globes they cost £25 and are grippy and are quite high mid cabs.

as for elyts they are expensive but seem to hold out although i havent worn any yet.

AIGHT i gotta weigh in. HOW on earth do people like janoskis for scootering unless everything you ride is sub 4 feet? because i literally was looking at those the other day and they are seriously lacking impact protection. if you ride alot of smaller stuff, them and vans probably feel awesome.

I got a pair of Koston Ones and threw in one extra layer of the little foam insoles you find at Walgreens and now stairsets dont hurt or sting at all. like literally, at all.

i love my elyts honestly. i used to ride with SB blazers, a shoe that indeed does hold up well, but compared to the elyts they arent worth it even if i got them at a low price of $39. I have back problems where my lower vertebrae is too far spread out forcing me not to hit heavy impact, and before when i rode with my blazers i couldnt even ride flat. At least now in my elyts i am hitting 5 sets no problem days on end without any back ache. I love the look and feel of them. i honestly feel that if you are a scooter rider you should buy elyts, even though they are pricy i think they look steezy and are great for scootering.

Elyts are crazy bad looking, I really don't understand why they chose that style, it's not popular at all now, also a lot of riders at my park have fucked them up

I love my Elyts. I'm not just saying it because I ride for them. I am one of the handful that actually rides for companies that I want to support because I like the product. A lot of people hated on the mid and high tops, but we offer low tops now, which a lot of people were asking for. I personally cannot ride in low tops anymore. I used to roll my ankle once every week and I haven't rolled my ankles since I started wearing mids. The stitch seperation problem in the first shipment has been fixed. We also revamped the look by adding leather for different textures. Which was for three reasons. 1, stitching holds much better so the shoes last longer, 2, the leather breathes better than the original material, and 3, they look much better, not so plain.

I'd honestly say they are worth the money. My two pairs have lasted me both 6 months each. And that's with riding basically every single day for a few hours at a time. And I honestly became a little more consistent. Maybe it's because I'm not worried to roll my ankles anymore, but even still, the shoes perform great too.
