are the old french id oversized bars any good

I have never used aluminium bars, i know many people hate them but in comparison to chromoly how weak are they? i would like to try lighter bars as my mr h bars are heavy and i want to experiment. unfortunatley they only come in 590mm height so even with scs they are only like 25 high and 19 wide.

I personally didn't like those bars. Not that they were aluminum, but I didn't like the way they felt.

They always reminded me of marshmallows haha.

i might get them as they are on a special offer, i would not pay full price for them
