Ok so I just got my 30-37mm Centery Step up ring for my Kenko .43 Fish. The vig is olny on the right side. Whats up with that and how do I fix it?

you probably got a screwed up step up ring and/or the threads on your cam are messed up. sometimes if the fisheye is not screwed on evenly, it will do that. most likely your camera is not a 3CCD, but if it is and the CCD's are out of alignment...that sucks.

Do you have the macro on or off? If its on unscrew it and see how it looks than, youll probably get a shit load of vig but zoom it till its even. Not sure if thats gonna work though since its uneven allready. You could just zoom it how it is right now but you might loose some wideness. Did you cam ever get dropped or hit?

dude thats what i hate about kenko.. there is vig and my raynox screw on is fine no vig at all i dont see anything wrong with the glass or anything and its just dank

but idk how to fix your problem travis and if your ccd's are out of alighnment sorry then your fucked

that sucks, um mkae sure your step up ring is on tighttt as itll go, not crazy tight because youll strip the thread but nice and snug..mine gets a little vig in the top left corner, but i think its because my camera threads are fucked cuz i dropped it on concrete once and there kinda whackkk

Its on all even my friend checked it out (AMAZING WITH CAMS) He says hes positive that my CCD is out of alinement. Unscrewing the macro didnt help. I cant zoom to make it even cuz its like the left vig isnt even there. My cam got hit once in july and it was pretty bad but everything works fine. Even without the fish if I point the lens directly at me, ill be off to the side Im looking to get it repaired but Im just saving up for a VX... Probly a 2000.... we shall see. This piss's me off so much.

Yeah if your cam got hit your friend is probably right about the CCD. If your under warrenty still see if you can get that fixed for free because paying for that repair could be the price of getting a new camera.

I hav 450 now... Im just gonna duffer it out and save and buy a vx1000

Sounds nice. Make sure you keep the camera you have right now to use it as a capture cam. Capturing on vx1 = no, bad for the heads.
