I've been reading through this, and I'm pretty impressed with the comprehensive and intelligent traits of your responses Parrish, especially on vague questions.
Note- With this next question, I'm not trying to start anything at all. I respect your views and just want to hear what you think about this.
The US going back to Iraq. Necessary? Unnecessary?

Haha I'm glad someone appreciated all the time I put into it.
I don't know if you want me to answer politically or morally, but Un fucking necessary.
The embassy in Iraq is comparable to the fucking pentagon. We aren't leaving, we're there for oil.

Well... Shouldn't politically be almost identical to morally?
I'll have to agree with you at that. A standpoint as far from this one as possible is ideal. However, people curse the oil endeavors to hell, but don't we need it? It does contribute a fairly large amount to the functioning of the US.

Nahh, we really, really, really don't need it. It releases a fuckload of carbon into the atmosphere, it promotes growth of gigantic corporations, and is all around a dead end for the human race. We are past peak oil. There are multiple renewable resources that are available today for our use, and I'm sure there are more that we just haven't put the effort into finding out. Our scientists are busy making proccessed food, pills, and other stupid ass stuff. Our society has some fucking AMAZING scientists, and if they were properly funded and supported, maybe with a fraction of the funding and support we put into war, consumerism, television, sports, we could solve a majority of the problems we face; the reality is that most scientists aren't able to actually fix problems, because when they get out of college they have bills to pay. Most scientists end up in commercial labs working for companies to keep on fucking our amazing, beautiful, awe-inspiring planet.

That is all true, but the transfer from oil based products will be quite the endeavor. I completely agree with what you're saying, we could find the answers, but it would require a shift of massive proportions, that quite frankly, I think the world is too messed up to make right now, unless a huge effort was put into it. So, while we still are dependent on oil, we should use it as the tool it is, and begin to make the shift to renewable resources, not just try to cut out cold turkey, because that almost never works.

If you were told you either had to lose your eyes or testicles in order to live, which of the 2 options would you pick?

Yeah I do forsure, I talk to James pretty regularly about products and shit, and have input on things and they send me a bunch of clothes so all is good there.
gnarkid I'd bargain with em so that I could cook them dinner (meat and dairy free of course) And they could take one eye and one testicle.
