why the heck do they they make the forks like that on an A2? Instead of the fork going into the hedtube, it has a black pad thing inbetween the headtube and fork. Is that better? I hope I explained it well enough.

no, A2 forks suck, they get all loose and worn and noisy. dispose of it asap and get a solid fork.
