wire brush will remove the rust. i dont think itll remove the weld marks but dont quote me on that. try it on a small spot and see if that works. if not then try using solvents.

I wouldnt, it works really good at first, but over time your bearings get slower than before. I think it removes the grease and all from your bearings

ill wait for eric to correct me if im wrong :)

clean ur barings in petrol heres the process;
get a bowel of petrol and place barings in the petrol use a small paint bursh and clean them like fuck then after uve done that soak them in wd-40/gt 85 or any thin oil (but most be thin) after uve done that soak them in a thick oil like car engine oil that works well. (that works realy well) then after uve done that dry them of, and get some greese on ur finger and tap the greese into them, but u most tap with 1 finger and hard or the wount get in the barings and u will have to start ova!
i now this seems stupid but it works like fuck my scooter got left out in the rain and barings just stopped working and now there like brand new
(i know this methood due to the fact im a car mechanic and we do it to car barings

trust me

haha nah your right, using alcohol is good to clean them just make sure to use some kind of lubricant as well. just dont use wd-40 or any type that sprays from a can, it will attract dirt easily. ive used motor oil and it works great.

I tried the wire brush but it rumoves the weld marks also. Any other ideas?
like i said, the solvents should work. try lacquer thinner/remover. paint stripper should also work

even tho andrew is backed up is he still only shipping on mondays?
he is very backed up. and pretty busy with all the orders. so he is shipping as soon as possible. just be patient, youll get your stuff soon.

Eric the solvents didnt really help, I used "Super Kwik" rust remover and "CLR" both of which didnt really help. So I clearcoated it to prevent any further rusting, I guess im over it since theres not much rust anyway.

Bri flips... how do I let go with my feet? I allways seem to get caught up with my feet, Is there any special trick to letting go?

nah i wouldnt kick it forward, thats how your feet get caught up. just jump straight up and use your arms for the whole rotation of your scooter.

and sorry to hear nothing worked for you. but i wouldve at least used the wire brush even if it did take off the weld marks cause now youre stuck with rust and weld marks.
