ok, nooby question, can i just use a regular threadless headset on my scooter as long as i keep the top threaded cup off my old scoot?

you can use the whole entire headset you buy if thats what youre asking, you just need to keep the lock nut from the razor headset on too if youre gonna use a threaded fork

edit: and the lock nut is the nut on top, the one that doesnt touch the bearings.

another noob question. what is a cab and a half cab? and if theres any videos that would help, ive never been quite sure, is a half cab when you go fakie then 180 out? can you just clear this up for me. chz

yup, half cab is fakie then 180 out. full cab is a fakie 360. watch some danny warwick, he does them alot. but he does a lot of what i like to call manny cabs, which are fakie pivot manny 180 to fakies.

what part of a threadless headset makes it threadless. Like, how does it make it so different from a threaded headset. noob question i guess

because a threadless headset can be used on a threadless fork, threaded headsets somewhat can but it requires modding and it will still be a mess.
threadless headsets and forks just clean up the front end and make adjustments easier.

edit: oo like the part that makes it threadless? its a cone sort of thing that rests on the top race. when you tighten your headset the cone locks it in place even if you take your bars off.

that is a rumor. the only person i have heard say that it happened is josh toy in jesse macalusos double flip attempts description on youtube. im pretty sure if jarret did, there would be footage.

well, this is a small sport. and we dont really have access to resi which would make attempts a little easier. there also arent a ton of people really capable i think. i mean there are maybe 6-8 that could probably pull it off. its just waiting for someone to get the guts to do it.
