yeah start plannin and try to get some people to support a comp and make sure its ok with the park owners if there are any and plan it and get a set day that is a few months away for people to get ready

its not that easy when the council do jack shit, anyways easier said then done. We have comps In Cairns, if you're really that keen to travel for comps in QLD go to Mackay, unfortunately corey geisler, zac stemm & wyatt conroy live there. Last Mackay comp Wyatt won a pro. So pretty rad prizes

red frogs host comps up in the north but theyre soooooooo shit but not for the mackay boys, they call fucking briflips "sasquatch". I feel pretty bummed about my last result since the judges hosted a comp they knew shit about, did a bri over big box for final trick and another kid one footers spine not even high and he beats me lol.

dont bother organising a comp.
the council has only got funding for 5 comps per year and those go towrads BMX or skate comps (unless they hcanged it for 2008)
if you get sponsors you will need insurance which will cost you more thne $500 (unless you get sponsors which are not legit companys..)
you will end up loosing a lot of money.
unless you want to do it the cheap-o way. which isnt really that much of a good idea as when i had my comp we had skaters and BMXers planing to crash it - luckily we had it at 7am. lol.
