I have no idea for NSW, but in S.A., You can ride in pretty much any skatepark legally, but locals might get pissed,but most the time in good neighborhoods they dont.
As for Slam, go there and check with the owner, or look at the rules, or if they have a site, check there.

Yeah I've been to most skateparks around the city and never been kicked out of all the ones I have been to. I don't care if locals get pissed off I just stay out their way.
