Wtf is the difference with all these weld shit stuff.
Theres Tig, Mig, stick, blahdy blahdy blahda WTF IS SO DIFFERENT!?

The difference is the cost of the welder and what it can weld.
-Stick welders (manual electric arc welders) were designed for use on farm equipment and they are also used underwater, as far as i know they only weld different types of steel.

-MIG (metal inert gas) is the easiest to use as the wire is fed automatically, can be used on steel and aluminum(more expensive than stick).

-TIG (tungsten inert gas) is the most expensive and hardest to use because the current is controlled by a foot pedal, one hand holds the tungsten filament while the other hand feeds in the filler rod. Can be used on steel, aluminum, stainless and more. TIG also produces the best looking weld, in experienced hand of course.

-Both MIG and TIG use a shielding gas to prevent the weld from oxidising. Stick welder filler rods are coated with a flux that turns to gas when heated to shield the weld.

Maybe you could read a book on welding/metal work while your recovering.
