Baby SCS and and alu bars

Hi.
I really never got this clear, and I've been searching about it but didn't find anything.
I heard from a guy, that Baby SCS doesn't work with alu bars, because of the thicker wall. On normal SCS, there's a shim in the compression, so it works with alu bars. But does Baby SCS have that bigger hole to?

Thanks

No, Oversized alu bars won't fit Baby SCS :(

There's on SR Store

"only 1-1/4 inch bars are compatible with this system which also means there is no shim included."

If you wanted to make aluminum bars that have the same wall thickness as normal but with a smaller OD (therefore smaller ID) so it was baby SCS specific, you could. But unless you readily have the resources it wouldn't really be worth it.

No. Alu bars would crack with a thinner wall. I'm looking forward to the day with oversized alu bars. Then next compression must be a normal SCS
