I know i'm posting a lot but my mom is a nurse and she pinpointed the pain and she said the pain was muscle not bone. I showed my mom the post that Manzie posted. She is going to try and get an appointment with my chiropractor. Im fucking scared now. I dont want to have a disease when I cant do anything, I run track, play basketball, and ride.

i know that this isn't the exact same problem that you have, but i could possibly give you some helpful input, im clearly no doctor though. i used to have lower back problems on my lower most vertebrae. they said that my spine was spread out too far and that is why i felt the pain. i also couldn't ride for four months and went to a chiropractor and all. the most important thing to do that helped me would be to stretch, specifically your back but definitely other muscles, and what helped me even more recently was that i started lifting. This helped my back muscles get more accustomed to the stress that i was putting on it and overall made my back pain almost disappear. it is still uncomfortable for me to sit and do other things. but with a combination of higher bars, and the elyts shoes (for extra shock absorbtion) it really helped me out. but i would definitely make lifting and stretching a part of your daily routine. stretch everyday at least twice a day and before any physical activity and i would lift regularly as well, but dont try to put up as much weight as you can. the muscle will get there eventually. i hope this helps man, just have some good posture and totally see a professional and see what they say. i hope that your back gets better man.

Hopefully it is muscular but its the trouble breathing thing which my doctors said was the first sign there was some nerve damage going on, which can only stem from where all your nerves are, your spine. Some people are just genetically susceptible to it, if you do have it then theres nothing you can do except wait until you've stopped growing and your bones harden up.

And yeah can't stress how important stretching your back is, if i'd done it before everytime i rode i would have avoided this condition completely.

I have the same disease as Manzie, they tried to put me in a back brace for 2 years and quit riding, but I said no and now I have to go to a chiropractor every week. You should definitely get your back looked at to see if you might have the same problem.
