Bad paint job

Im trying to convince my friend tlyer (T.P.5) to repaint his scooter. At first i told him to do somthing like blue and stuff but now he painted it gold and with black and white checkers on the t tube. I have not seen it yet but he did tell me he got some sweet bike grips for his handle bars. what do guys think.
