bar and clamp trouble

ok i put my bars on to a fork tighten the clamp and my bars wobble i have a bolted foldy and i checked my headset so its not that.my actually bars are moving my clamps are tightened all the way and it moves back and fourth not side to side but back and fourth any ideas?

umm your fork may be not long enough for the clamp to tighten on to

Give us your specs, is this all stock parts?

Do you have a threadless fork? Do you have a compression system? If no, thats your problem.

If its threaded, try a different clamp.

well my clamps worked fine before i put on my new headset

Where are you slits cut on your bars? That most likely explains why it moves in 2 directions and not 4.
