if i was to make one pice bars what size of pipe would i need for the steer tube to fit over the axel?

don't you mean fork. anyways um....1 and 1 8th inch pipe. or 1.125 what ever.

Hold up, Isn't the fork tube 1 1/8"?? Which would mean you'd need a larger tube to get around it Like a 1 1/4"!?!?

dude your an idiot if your saying the OD: is 1.125
the ID ( inside diameter) is 1.125 so if you were to get 1-1/4 OD: the wall would end up being .065
