so for Christmas i got some new parts, put them all on, tightened everything, but the bars still wobble.
can someone tell me how to fix it? i'm using a lucky threaded fork, razor ultra pro bars, fsa DH pro headset, and a district clamp with a half knuckle shim.
anyone know how to fix this problem?

its a threaded fork, and i tightened it to the point where i thought my bars were going to break. i think the fork tube needs to go up higher, so it doesnt wobble? but i have no idea.

i have the same thing but im running scs, thing is the bars i got have a oddly cut slit in it, make sure your slit isnt rigid or it wont clamp down right

yeah it was a little rigid and i filed it but that doesnt seem to be the problem..

and checked my headset, everything looks fine. the bars just wobble.

well you have the locknut hopefully, rigging a threaded fork/ threadless headset is kind of tricky, and it might always wobble cause theyre not really supposed to go together. Most people would use locktite on the locknut

It's threaded. Make sure you have all the parts of the headset on right then make sure the slit in your clamp lines up with the slit on your bars. Tighten the headset first then put the bars on.

Just because you have a threaded fork doesn't mean it wont wiggle. You will need a compression system. Or, you can ride a threaded headset, like a razor pro headset. You probably know what to do by now, i'm just trying to help.

justin, i think that the slit should be good. inward made it and i checked it out, it looks fine.

connor i've had a problem with having the threaded on threadless before, but got it to work, this time its just being stubborn. i

and i just tried aligning it with the slit, that didnt work either.
could the fork be the reason for it wobbling?

i dont know where i would get a shim that small though haha and that seems to complicated.
i would rather just use my other fork, but idk if that would work either haha
